OXFORD DOWN SBA SHOW & SALE, WORCESTER
This is the Association’s
own sale and is aimed at existing and prospective Oxford Down breeders. There
is a good selection of rams and ewes forward at this sale and it is an ideal opportunity
for breeders to purchase stud rams for use in the same season and also for new
breeders to purchase quality foundation stock. A show is held on the morning of
the sale. There are usually also some rams suitable for commercial use. Date:
Saturday in mid July

The National Sheep Association’s
large multi-breed Welsh ram sale provides another good source of Oxford Down rams
for both crossing and stud purposes. There is a show held on the evening prior
